Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP)
The goal of this program is to provide access to quality child care that allows parents to work, attend education and training programs and/or to participate in the Kentucky Temporary Assistance Program (K-TAP).
Child care subsidies are also available for child protective services. Child care services through the CCAP are purchased from licensed, certified and registered providers.

The Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) assists families in obtaining child care. The goals of the program parallels those of the federal laws that provide funding for Kentucky's child care program. The division also provides program coordination for subsidy payments, professional development and training, promulgates regulations, and develops policy and procedures. More information can be obtained through the CCAP Operations Manual.
