AmeriCorps Launch
 The AmeriCorps Launch is held each fall to introduce a new class of AmeriCorps members embarking on a year of service to the commonwealth. The launch celebration is designed to motivate citizens and members alike to make the most of volunteer opportunities.
As part of the annual launch, new and returning AmeriCorps members receive training and participate in a meaningful, moving induction ceremony.

The 2007 AmeriCorps Launch was held Oct. 4-5 at the Capital Plaza Hotel in Frankfort. This year’s theme was “Unbridled Spirit of Service.” During the event, members and staff of AmeriCorps*State programs took the oath of service and took part in a variety of training sessions.
