CPT codes approved for ancillary billing include:

X-rays, laboratory, physical, speech and occupational therapy codes may be billed using the outpatient procedure codes from the Physicians fee schedule listed above. Oxygen may be billed using the durable medical equipment fee schedule listed above.

Ancillary payment methodology is outlined in 907 KAR 1:065, section 12. The current allowable procedure codes for billing nursing facility ancillary services are provided at the following links: Radiology - Speech, Physical and Occupational Therapy - Lab (refer to the Physicians fee schedule listed above). Oxygen Therapy codes may be billed using the DME fee schedule listed above.
