Kentucky Youth Tobacco Survey |

Every two years, even years, middle and high schools across the Commonwealth are randomly selected to participate in the Kentucky Youth Tobacco Survey (KYTS). This report includes data on tobacco use - both smoked and chewed - among Kentucky's youth. The 2006 KYTS report contains the results of the 2004 survey. This survey helps Kentucky public leaders monitor the states' progress toward the "Healthy Kentucky 2010" prevention project.

In the fall of 2005, the Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Program and the Get Healthy Kentucky! Board held ten public forums throughout Kentucky.
