Tobacco Use in Kentucky (2005)

Tobacco Use In Kentucky (2005) is a recent report published by the Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Program that highlights some of the statistics related to the use of tobacco in Kentucky. The report focuses on objectives outlines in the Healthy Kentuckians 2010 report and analyzes where Kentucky stands today in reaching those objectives.

Kentucky Youth Tobacco Survey

Every two years, even years, middle and high schools across the Commonwealth are randomly selected to participate in the Kentucky Youth Tobacco Survey (KYTS). This report includes data on tobacco use - both smoked and chewed - among Kentucky's youth.  The 2006 KYTS report contains the results of the 2004 survey.  This survey helps Kentucky public leaders monitor the states' progress toward the "Healthy Kentucky 2010" prevention project.
