The Dangers of Spit Tobacco Use
Spit tobacco refers to any type of tobacco held in the mouth, including spitless pouches. Like smoked tobacco products, smokeless tobacco contains chemicals that can cause cancer and nicotine which can make it addictive. Some tobacco company's have advocated the use of spit tobacco products to help smokers quit smoking. The result of extensive research indicates that use of smokeless tobacco is not advisable as a smoking cessation method.
