ShareFEST 2017

Community Health ShareFEST was a two-day event held Nov. 6-7, 2017, featuring interactive workshops on crosscutting topics to increase effectiveness and sustainability of coalition projects and improve community engagement and collaboration. Health Equity was the lens which the entire conference was built upon.

Attendance was required for local health departments receiving Community Health Action Team (CHAT) funding through the Preventive Health and Health Services Block Grant (PHHSBG).  Applications for travel scholarships were made available for communities who did not receive 2017 CHAT funding.

This coordinated effort was presented by numerous programs from the Kentucky Department for Public Health, including the Chronic Disease Prevention Branch, Health Promotion Branch, Office for Health Equity and EnviroHealthLink – Kentucky’s Environmental Public Health Tracking Network.
