Certified Septic System Installers:
The current certification year began April 1, 2013 and will end March 31, 2014. During this time, installers are required to obtain six hours of approved maintenance training.
Installers who were newly certified during the first nine months of the certification year (April 1 through Dec. 31) are also required to attend two training courses or the equivalent by March 31, 2014.
The certification of any installer who does not attend training will expire effective April 1, 2014.
Installers whose certification is currently expired for lack of maintenance training must obtain the make-up training (two courses or six-hour approved equivalent).
After reinstatement, installers are required to obtain training for the current certification year (by March 31, 2014) to be in good standing for the next certification year.
Installers may not retake the initial installer test. For further information regarding certified installer training, please contact Tammy Warford or call (502) 564-4856.
