Physical Activity

Physical activity can help reduce the risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, brittle bone disease, prevent obesity, stabilize blood sugar levels, lower cholesterol, decrease the discomfort of arthritis, and improve your mental outlook! Walking is an excellent form of exercise. Swimming, bicycling, jogging, dancing, and skating are other forms of excellent aerobic exercise that gets the circulation moving and improves muscle tone. Always check with your health care provider before beginning an exercise program.
