Kentucky Administrative Regulation (KAR) Filing Statements (KRS 13A.220(8)) ​

Summary: This administrative regulation establishes the requirements and standards for the certification of recovery housing.  The proposed amendment clarifies the certification applications' contents and process, incorporates fees for applications; introduces fines for operation of a noncertified, nonexempt recovery house; and establishes guidelines for provision of on-site medical and clinical services to recovery house residents consistent with best practices and other department regulations. ​

​Written public comments may be submitted to CHFSregs@ky.gov through February 28, 2025. Upon request to the CHFSregs@ky.gov by February 17, 2025, a public hearing will be held February 24, 2025, at 9 a.m., via Zoom
