​​​​Notice of Funding Opportunity: Contingency Management (CM) Pilot​

The Kentucky Department for Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities (DBHDID), through the Kentucky Overdose Response Effort (KORE), is pleased to announce a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) to support the implementation of Contingency Management (CM) in Kentucky.

Up to 10 pilot grants will be awarded to eligible agencies to launch CM programs designed to improve treatment engagement, medication adherence, and recovery outcomes for individuals with opioid use disorder (OUD) or stimulant use disorder (StimUD). The pilot cohort will serve as an initial learning and implementation phase to inform the development of a statewide CM training and implementation model.

Participating agencies will receive funding, training, and technical assistance to deliver CM with fidelity to evidence-based standards and will provide feedback to inform statewide expansion.

Award Information:

  • Eligibility: Nonprofit 501(c)(3) or quasi-government agencies with at least two years of experience providing OUD/StimUD treatment
  • Number of Awards: Up to 10
  • Award Ceiling: $50,000 per agency
  • Project Period: 12 months (anticipated start date: March 1, 2026)
  • Cost Sharing: Not required
