Policy Review Update
Requirements for Kentucky Family Planning Policy Review is decreasing to once every three years or as federal requirements change effective August 2024.
Local Health Department Family Planning Providers
The Kentucky Department for Public Health allocates awarded federal Title X funds to local health departments who commit to provide family planning services in their area.
Title X core services include contraceptive services, pregnancy testing and counseling, optimal family spacing, basic infertility services, STD services, preconception health, related preventive health services (for example, cancer screening) and other preventive health services. Family planning services are provided to both females and males.

Quality Assurance Site Review
Effective July 2024 the Quality Assurance Program Review Tool has been separated into two surveys: the Family Planning Policy Review, and the Family Planning Annual Chart Review. As of August 2024 the Policy Review is required every three years. Agencies that have started 2024 chart reviews, click on the new link below and continue.
(For example, if an agency has completed four chart reviews using the old link, be assured the four chart reviews remain available. Charts five through ten should be completed using the new link below.)
