900 KAR 5:020 State Health Plan for facilities and services. Regulation contains the State Health Plan as a Material Incorporated by Reference.
The emergency regulation does the following:
The ordinary regulation incorporates the language from the emergency regulation and includes the following:
- State Health Plan - ordinary
- Increases access to ambulatory surgical centers for specialists who perform glaucoma and cornea surgeries.
- Increases access to cardiac catheterization services

900 KAR 6:075 Certificate of need nonsubstantive review. Regulation details which facilities and services that are subject to nonsubstantive review for the purposes of Certificate of Need (CON). This amendment is necessary to align with updates to the new State Health Plan which increases access to Level II Special Care Neonatal beds and grants nonsubstantive review status to CON applications submitted by licensed health facilities creating special care neonatal beds.
The ordinary regulation aims to increase access to diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures.
