Division of Quality and Population Health

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The division of Quality and Population Health measures, analyzes, and reports health outcomes of Kentucky Medicaid members. The branches that compose this division are Quality, Population He​​alth, Equity and Determinants of Health, and Research and Analytics. These branches work together to achieve optimum health outcomes for all Kentucky Medicaid members.​

Division News

In August 2024 the Division Quality and Population Health (DQPH), within the Department for Medicaid Services (DMS), presented at the national Medicaid Enterprise Solutions Conference (MESC) – Obtaining and Connecting Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) Data. DMS, with other Cabinet of Health and Family Services agencies, developed a system to connect Medicaid members with additional needed resources to help improve health outcomes.
