Requirements for Kentucky Family Planning Policy Review is decreasing to once every five years or as federal requirements change effective July 2025.
Local Health Department Family Planning Providers
The Kentucky Department for Public Health allocates awarded federal Title X funds to local health departments who commit to provide family planning services in their area.
Title X core services include contraceptive services, pregnancy testing and counseling, optimal family spacing, basic infertility services, STD services, preconception health, related preventive health services (for example, cancer screening) and other preventive health services. Family planning services are provided to both females and males.
