What We Do
The Maternal and Child Health Branch is part of the Division of Health Care Policy.We manage Medicaid programs and develop policies that support the health of children and people who are pregnant or have recently given birth.

We work closely with the Centers for Medicaid and Medicaid Services (CMS) and other areas within the department to meet federal and state requirements.
