​​​​​​​​​ The Policy Development Branch centralizes the policy development and policy oversight functions for Family Support programs including Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, SNAP benefits, Low Income Energy Assistance Program Community Services Block Grant and State Supplementation.

Additionally, the branch administers the division's contracts funded through these programs and federal and state funding streams.
