The Department for Medicaid Services contracts Aetna, Humana, Passport by Molina, UnitedHealthcare, and WellCare to provided managed care services for most Kentucky Medicaid members. Anthem no longer participates in Kentucky Medicaid managed care. Please note managed care contracts are subject to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services approval.

Update Regarding Anthem
Effective Jan. 1, 2025, Anthem is no longer a Medicaid Managed Care Organization, or MCO, in Kentucky. This does not change a member’s Medicaid eligibility. Medicaid coverage will not be interrupted.
