Kentucky Medicaid is a state and federal program authorized by Title XIX of the Social Security Act to provide health care for eligible, low-income populations. These populations include children, low-income families, pregnant women, the aged and the disabled. Eligibility for these groups is determined by a number of factors, including family size, income and the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Eligibility for people who receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and the aged, blind, or disabled are based on additional requirements such as income and resource limits.

Federal Rules Update

Medicaid recently held two public forums focused on a new federal rule requiring changes to the Advisory Council for Medical Assistance (MAC) and the creation of a new Beneficiary Advisory Council (BAC)

We want to hear from you. As we explore this change, we want to make sure the future structure of the advisory groups works in a way that is best for all Kentuckians.  This survey allows us to gather your feedback on important design considerations.
