Mission Statement
The Child Care Advisory Council offers Kentucky child care providers and advocates the opportunity to advise the Cabinet on matters affecting the operations, funding, licensing and certification of child care outlined in the Child Care Development Block Grant. The CCAC offers guidance to the Cabinet in developing and promoting methods to improve quality, access, affordability and positive outcomes for all children participating in child care services throughout the state. The CCAC acts as the bridge between providers and the Cabinet to build collaboration to positively impact children.
