Child Development Resources
The early years of life are very important to children's health and development. The Division of Child Care supports resources to help families nurture the growth of their children. How your child plays, learns, speaks, acts and moves all are milestones and important indicators of your child’s development. Families can check the milestones children meet by using the CDC Milestone Checklists.
ChildCare.gov has numerous resources for families to support your child’s health, development and behaviors.
Kentucky Governor’s Office of Early Childhood provides parent guides and starter kits to assist families in teaching their children.
The Division of Child Care has created at home activities to further support families. These lessons are divided by age group and contain two parts.
